Itinerary
Day 1-4: Barbados
Arrival and orientation in Barbados. Relax on this beautiful Caribbean Island. Spend fun filled days in a luxurious atmosphere enjoying a wide range of activities that the island has to offer. Choose from snorkeling, scuba diving, thrilling experiences in Harrison's cave, adventurous river cruises and a full nightlife.
Day 5-7: Georgetown, Guyana
As an introduction to the city, we will go on a Georgetown walking tour and a two-hour bird watching expedition. This country is an undiscovered destination with much to see! Apart from being the home to the "mighty Kaieteur Falls", huge rivers, giant arapaima fish and rich bird life, Guyana is truly an ecotourism gem. Activities including visits to ecolodges, the Kaieteur and Orinduik Falls, river safaris, bird watching, nature walks and much more.
Day 8: Return Flight Home
Meet your guide and transfer to Iwokrama Rainforest Reserve for overnight. On your way visit CORT (Cock-of–the Rock Trail) and other birding habitats, which provide examples of rare birds. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)
