Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive in Guyana. Pick up and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Kaieteur Falls/ Island Resort
Nestled in the heart of the Potaro River amongst the lush green forests is the Kaieteur Falls. This majestic 741 foot (225 meter) grandeur is the highest single drop waterfall in the world. We depart at 9:00 a.m. for the 1 hour flight to Kaieteur Falls. We will spend 2 hours at the falls taking in the view from 5 different vantage points. Also view the breathtaking splendour of the gorge below. In the afternoon, fly to a private island resort for overnight. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 3: Private Luxury Resort
This island features beautiful white sandy beaches and various water activities or you may simply go for a walk along the nature trail. A trip along the Mazaruni includes river safari with stops at the mining town of Bartica, Marshall Falls, Whitewater Falls, Kyk-over-al, and more. Overnight at Island resort. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 4: Georgetown
Afternoon transfer to Georgetown. (Meals: breakfast, lunch)
Day 5: Departure
Transfer from your hotel to airport for your return flight.
