Explore Guyana's Essequibo River and Kaieteur Nature Park on this 4 day adventure. The highlights include a visit to the world famous Kaieteur Falls; wildlife spotting, canoeing, kayaking, bird watching or just relaxing on a private island resort of Sloth Island.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Fly to Guyana and transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Saturday: Sloth Island, Essequibo and Mazaruni River Safari
Pick up from hotel and transfer to the town of Parika, driving over the harbor Bridge—the longest floating bridge in the world across the second largest river in Guyana—the Demerara River. Continue your journey by boat along the Essequibo River, Guyana’s largest River, being 20 miles wide at its widest point. Continue to Sloth Island and spend 1 night/2 days. Sloth Island has recently recorded 188 species including the Puff Bird, Manikins, Toucan, Parakeets, as well as sloths and monkeys. Next, take a tour of Parrot Island where hundreds of Parrots come to roost. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Sunday: Kaieteur Falls
Transfer to the airport for your flight to the famous Kaieteur Falls. At 741 feet (225 meters) Kaieteur Falls is five times the height of Niagara. It is a sight to behold. There is no other like Kaieteur in beauty and grandeur! View the waterfalls from various vantage points. You may be lucky to see the rare Guianan Cock-of-the-rock on your 2 hour tour. Return to Georgetown in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. (Meals: breakfast, lunch)
